Press Release Body: Dr. Hemen Goswami, CTO, Infogain Corporation chaired an invited session on \"Software Quality, Maintainability, Management and Estimation", at the 11th IASTED International Conference on Software Engineering and Applications, SEA 2007 held in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, held from November 19 - 21, 2007. Dr. Goswami was one of the 2 speakers to Chair the opening session on the 1st day of the conference and he presented a paper on "Calibrated Estimation Model for a Maintenance Project".
It was an honour to be able to present my work at this important international forum as these forums are important for our growth both at the individual and the institutional level. They provide us the opportunity not only to present our research work to our fellow members but also to witness new developments in the field of technology. The theme of this year\'s conference, "Software Engineering and Applications" is very much aligned with our Company\'s belief that our industry should be moving toward performing more outcome studies on software quality, said Dr. Goswami.

The conference was attended by academicians, researchers, software architects, and senior technology managers from both leading universities and industries across the globe.
Dr. Goswami did his bachelors in Electronics from Guwahati University and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and PhD in Image Data Compression, both from Florida Institute of Technology, USA. He has published about 12 papers in national and international conferences and journals in areas of data compression, algorithms, and software computational techniques. He has also authored a book chapter on optimal algorithm. Dr. Goswami was offered a membership by the Tau Beta Pi, the national Engineering Honor Society, and USA for high academic standing within the U.S. graduate engineering colleges.
